Getting to Dreamland Maldives
From Velana International Airport (MLE) · 121 km · Seaplane transfer
How to reach Dreamland Maldives
The resort is on Hirundhoo island in Baa Atoll, 121 km from Malé. A 35-minute seaplane is the direct transfer option. Alternatively, fly 20 minutes to Dharavandhoo Airport on a domestic flight, then take a 10-minute speedboat to the island. The resort coordinates an airport shuttle as part of the arrival process.
Seaplane transfers typically run $250–600 per person round trip, booked through the property. A few islands in this band are also served by a domestic flight to a nearby regional airport plus a short boat — ask the property which routing is faster for your dates.
Step by step
- Fly to Malé. Arrive at Velana International Airport (MLE), the Maldives' main international gateway, served by direct flights from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
- Seaplane transfer. Transfer onward by scenic seaplane over the atolls — roughly 121 km. Seaplanes operate in daylight hours only, so a late arrival may mean an overnight in Malé.
- Arrive at Dreamland Maldives. Settle in and start your stay.
